The past few weeks have been nothing short of incredible as we officially set sail on this new journey together. On August 13, 2025, we launched Coral Keys Adventures with our very first tour—and what a day it was! Guests snorkeled the crystal-clear waters around Alligator Lighthouse, explored the fascinating history of Indian Key, and then drifted in pure relaxation on floating loungers at the world-famous Islamorada Sandbar. It was the perfect beginning to what has already become an adventure-filled season.
And then, something amazing happened: the very next day, the phone rang. A couple visiting from Portugal wanted to go snorkeling. When I arrived at the dock, a German family was also inquiring about a trip. One tour turned into two, then into three that very same day—the Portuguese couple even re-booked after their first trip because they couldn’t get enough of the Keys’ beauty! That’s when I knew Coral Keys Adventures was off to an incredible start.
From that moment through Labor Day Weekend, it was non-stop fun on the water—snorkeling, island-hopping, sandbar lounging, and making memories with travelers from around the world. I couldn’t have asked for a better kick-off to this new chapter.
Now that the fall “slow season” has rolled in, I’ve had some time to focus on behind-the-scenes work—updating the website, fine-tuning operations, and sharing Coral Keys Adventures with local hotels and resorts. But don’t worry—the ocean is always calling, and I’m still running tours for anyone ready to experience the magic of the Florida Keys.
I’ve been boating in these waters for 26 years, and after four years as a part-time captain—and another year full-time with a local tour company—it’s a dream come true to welcome guests aboard my very own boat. There’s nothing I love more than helping people discover the hidden gems, vibrant reefs, and laid-back sandbars that make this place so special.
